Orca Slicer is free, open-source software, and this site is an independent guide to it. None of this would exist without the people who build and maintain the slicer. This page gives credit where it is due.

The software

The slicer is developed and maintained by an open-source community, released under the AGPL license. That is why anyone can read, verify and build on its code. It began as a fork of Bambu Studio, which itself grew from PrusaSlicer. So it stands on years of work by those projects and their contributors. The calibration tools, the broad printer support and the steady improvements all come from that community.

This site

This is an independent guide. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Orca Slicer project. Its purpose is to explain each setting clearly and honestly. Every page is checked against the official documentation and tested in the app before it is published. The diagrams are original, made to show how each setting behaves.
